Corey Trease, M.D.
Orthopedic Surgeon
Corey Trease, M.D., is dual board certified in orthopedic surgery and orthopedic sports medicine. He provides comprehensive bone, joint, and muscle care for patients of all ages, with a focus on treating sports-related injuries and musculoskeletal conditions.
Dr. Trease's surgical expertise includes endoscopic carpal tunnel release, knee and shoulder arthroscopy, and partial knee replacement procedures. He also provides nonsurgical treatment aimed at improving bone health and has a particular interest in endoscopic carpal tunnel release and partial knee replacement.
Dr. Trease earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln and completed his medical degree at the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Medicine in Omaha. He completed an orthopedic internship that included training at Belize City Hospital in Belize City, Belize, and concluded his internship at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas, where he also completed his orthopedic surgery residency.
In his practice, Dr. Trease believes successful treatment begins by taking the time to carefully listen to each patient to understand how their condition impacts quality of life. He always performs a thorough examination and only orders tests that are needed to establish a diagnosis and appropriate treatment options. He strives to ensure his patients are fully informed of the treatment options and how those options affect their well-being. Dr. Trease enjoys having the ability to get his patients back to the activities that they have been unable to do because of their pain.
