Blake E. Peterson, M.D.
Hip & Knee Replacement Surgeon
Dr. Blake Peterson is a fellowship-trained adult reconstruction specialist who focuses on hip and knee joint replacement. His extensive surgical expertise includes anterior hip replacement, partial and total knee replacement, outpatient joint replacement procedures, and complex primary and revision hip and knee surgery.
Originally from St. Joseph, Missouri, Dr. Peterson earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Truman State University in 2008 before completing his Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Missouri School of Medicine in Columbia. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Missouri Orthopaedic Institute and went on to receive advanced fellowship training in adult reconstruction, specializing in hip and knee replacement, at the Anderson Orthopaedic Clinic in Alexandria, Virginia.
Dr. Peterson is committed to helping each patient return to an active lifestyle and finds the most rewarding aspect of his practice is seeing patients become pain-free and able to resume the activities they love. Outside of practicing medicine, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his family and staying active through cycling and running.
